Entertainer Blogger Award

entertainer blog award #2A big thank you to Stephanie at makingtimeforme for the nomination.  She is (to use the words of another blogger describing her) a prolific blogger.  She writes about all sorts of things, is tremendously supportive and unselfishly promotes other bloggers’ work.  Her “spotlights” and “weekly updates” are well worth viewing.

The Rules:

• Write a post with the award picture shown above.

•  Nominate up to 12 other bloggers who are funny, inspiring, and most of all ENTERTAINING!

•  Thank the person who nominated you by tagging their blog.

•  Answer the five questions listed below.

The five questions are:

1.  Why did you start a blog in the first place?
I think I remember my youngest daughter saying “let’s do a blog.”  I had no idea what I was doing but I thought I’d give it a shot.

2.  What is your favorite book?
I always struggle with this question because I don’t read books.  The only book I ever read was Ambulance Girl so I guess it would be my favorite.

3.  What do you dislike the most?
I dislike injustice, prejudice, infidelity, dishonor, immorality, liars and narrow-mindedness.

4.  What is your favorite food item from the mall?
I haven’t been to a mall in more than twenty years but when I used to go, I would always get a Barnies’ coffee (long before Starbucks) and a Cinnabon with an extra cup of icing.

5.  What is your favorite pastime activity?
Probably blogging.

My nominees:

1.  Robert Goldstein
2.  Spearfruit
3.  theword36
4.  shavingshards
5.  creativerational
6.  samlobos
7.  A@moylomenterprises
8.  Tikeetha T

    • Where have you been????? I can’t even find you on my “following” list! There are a lot of places to get clothes and household stuff. There aren’t any malls where I live and I kind of fell out with them years ago. In Florida, the ones close to me started turning into crap places and started dying. A few new ones were built but I had long since gone by then. I just don’t like them.
      So….where have you been?

      • Oh lady! I have been here the whole time, I just had to go dark… Ho-hub found my blog and I need it for my sanity and he needs to not see it because it’s.. Dark. I turned it private, and also changed my comment name so when he searches blog name he doesn’t come up with all my new comments on the blogs I follow. I sent you an invite to follow but it probably went into your spam folder, it might work better to ask to read my site from your side.

My life is a mess as always, and for extra awful, his mum tripped on concrete leaving a restaurant and smacked the back of her head on the pavement, and stroked out in the hospital, and is brain dead. They’re going to review her organs for donation tomorrow. This woman was a beautiful soul, and she’s leaving us. My heart is just too broken already. Oh momma.

        • I just requested access. There was nothing in my spam folder but spam…LOL. I’m so sorry about your former MIL. That’s what happened to my mama but she stroked out and died on her kitchen floor. Are you going to see her or have you already? If her organs can be used, she will leave, having left something of her behind that helped somebody else. When I offed my little brother, transplants were still in their infancy but eye transplants were already pretty common. I remember mama saying if she had donated them, “somebody could be seeing through his eyes.” She donated my daddys’ eyes and two people were able to see because of it.
I know you’re sad….but look at how you remember her. She must have been a really good woman to leave that memory with you. That’s worth something.
